I am having fun?

Olivia was playing in the sand with our neigbor's little girl. I asked, "Can I play?"

She gave me a funny look and I said, "Do you think Mommies can't play?"

She said, " No, mommies don't play. They just clean up what we do."

So I asked, "You mean, mommies can't have fun?"

"No," she answered. "They have fun when they are cleaning. They turn on the ipod and they have fun."

If I could just convince all my kids that I am having fun, maybe they would rush to join me. That is my plan anyway.

I love it. Well, you are doing something right if she thinks you are having fun cleaning, because when I clean my kids never think I'm having fun, they just think I am mean and that I yell too much when I'm doing it. The music helps though, it really does. Your daughter sounds like the cutest little kid.

There is something to be said for "reverse psychology" ... & I think you said it pretty well :) Hope you have fun pretending you're havin' fun :)

That is so cute! My girls also think that I like cleaning. Abby will tell you it is my favorite "hobby". I think I need a new hobby :)

That is priceless. I have a sign on my refridgerator reminding me to be thankful for what all my chores represent. (ie. Dirty dishes=well fed family, etc.) But I doubt I have ever given anyone the impression I was having fun doing chores, LOL. You go girl.
